Non-Surgical Treatments Rise

Nearly one in five (18%) American women have undergone one or more non-surgical cosmetic treatments, an increase of four percentage points in two years, according to Multi-sponsor Surveys’ 2013 Cosmeceutical Update. According to the study, the four most commonly used cosmeceutical treatments were laser hair removal (9%), micro-dermabrasion (8%), chemical/glycolic peels (8%) and eye lash growth enhancement (7%). In addition, 4% of the women surveyed had injectable wrinkle filler or relaxer treatm...
